Guillemette started her professional career at Chanel in 2010, where she soon fell in love with working in an atelier and the importance of finishing touches.Inspired by the desire to create her own collection, she launched her eponymous line in June 2014 : Maison Guillemette. Passionate about dance, the young designer drew upon this passion for inspiration for her collections. She creates designs that are at once delicate and sensual, that can be worn at big, once-in-a-lifetime events as well as to bring a little joy to everyday life.
In October 2014, the first bridal collection was launched and quickly caught the eye of Maria Luisa, who welcomed the upcoming brand into the heart of the selection of names stocked at Printemps Haussmann. In November of the same year, Galeries Lafayette followed suit and introduced Maison Guillemette's colourful flower garlands into their Creative Lab.
Exciting collaborations soon began to spring up: Boucheron, the world- famous jeweller; Tartine et Chocolat and the wonderful Maison Guerlain have all added their names to the list of brands working hand in hand with Maison Guillemette.
In December 2016, the Parisian brand expended their lines and started a women collection of prêt porter with the « petit haut noir ». Following the success of their 1st top, the team at Maison Guillemette now conceive and create a complete line of clothing made in France.
