Terms and Conditions of Sale
These are the terms and conditions of sale on which we, Maison Guillemette, supply goods to you via our website: www.maisonguillemette.com.
In ticking the box “I have read and accept the terms and conditions of sale” you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these General Terms and Conditions of Sale in their entirety. If you do not agree to these General Terms and Conditions of Sale in their entirety, you must not order any product or service through the Website.
These are Terms and Conditions of the business Maison Guillemette, registered to 10 rue du Plâtre, 75004, Paris, France, represented by Guillemette Ménard (a simplified stock company registered under French law with a capital of 3750 Euros, SIRET number: 801 942 723 R.C.S Paris, tax identification number: FR 37 801942723).
Any individual, non-commercial, with the right to legally order products online.
As of the moment you order a product from our website you agree to the Terms and Conditions laid our below in their entirety.
It is not possible to buy a product from the business Maison Guillemette without accepting the conditions laid out below.
ARTICLE 1 – AIMS
The present Terms and Conditions of Sale define the conditions under which Maison Guillemette’s products are sold. They include each different stage of sale: from the moment the client places an order through to the receipt of that order by the client.
Sale of Maison Guillemette’s products is restricted to adults above the age of 18 or minors with parental permission. Maison Guillemette reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
ARTICLE 2 –CHARACTERISTICS OF GOODS OFFERED
The products available for sale are those that feature on the website on the day that the Client consults it. Each product is accompanied by a description, a photograph and information relevant to the product (price and technical description). Products may vary slightly from their pictures. The images of the products on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that a device's display of the colours accurately reflects the colour of the products. Your product may vary slightly from those images.
Products are offered according to their available stock and can be delivered to France and certain countries in European Union.
ARTICLE 3 – PRICE
The price indicated by the Seller at the time of sale is in Euros and includes all tax according to the VAT rate set at the time of the sale. Any change in tax rates will be reflected without delay in the price of products on sale.
The Seller reserves the right to modify all prices at any time, however the price quoted to the Client at the moment of sale will be applied throughout the processing of that sale.
The prices quoted include the cost of processing the order.
The cost of transport and delivery are those indicated on the website at the time of sale.
The sale price is payable at the moment you order a product.
Maison Guillemette reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, it being understood that the price offered to the client at the time of their order will be the only one applicable to that particular order.
ARTICLE 4 – PLACING AN ORDER AND PAYMENT OF ITEMS
1- The client proceeds to their basket after having added all items desired. The client then clicks on “confirm order” (The client can still alter the items in their basket at this point).
2- The time for the processing of the order will appear and the client must verify and validate their basket.
3- Once validated the client must login (or if the client does not have an account, they must create one, which takes a couple of minutes)
4- The Client’s basket will appear. If client already had a basket saved on the site, the articles from this basket will also appear (a message in red type will appear to inform the client that the preceding articles have automatically been added to the new basket). The client validates their order; it is possible to delete undesired items from the basket at this point by clicking on the bin icon to the left of the product.
5- Once validated the client must select their method of payment. Payments can be made by card or via Paypal.
6- The client must tick the box declaring that they have read and accepted the Terms and Conditions of Sale
7- Finally the client must verify the delivery address and alter it if required.
Unless indicated otherwise the billing address will be registered automatically as that of the delivery address
8- The client can indicate whether their order is a present and thus add gift wrapping and a note to the recipient.
9- If payment is made via Paypal the Client will be redirected to the Paypal secure payment page in order to pay online. If payment is made by debit or credit card the client must fill out all details necessary (card number, date of expiry as well as the 3-digit code on the reverse of the card). If the payment is accepted the client will be automatically redirected to a screen confirming the order has been successfully placed, except in cases where there is an error with the server,
10- The client validates their payment and receives a summary of their order with their delivery and billing address. They can then view the receipt by clicking on the tab “receipt”.
11- The client will receive an email confirming the order has been placed.
Validation of the order by the client and the confirmation of order sent by Maison Guillemette marks the beginning of the contract between Maison Guillemette and the client.
In accordance with article 1348 of the Civil Code (France) order forms and receipts will be archived in a secure, durable server, thus constituting a faithful copy of these documents. The digital forms issued by Maison Guillemette are to be considered by both parties as proof of a contractual relationship between the two parties.
Maison Guillemette reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order placed by a client with whom there has been a previous dispute or who represents a risk to the company.

ARTICLE 5 – DELIVERY AND GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATIONS
Goods will be delivered to addresses in France and certain countries in the European Union.
Orders are despatched between three and six days from the date they were ordered (for an order placed on a Monday, you will receive it the following Wednesday at the latest, excluding bank holidays).
Deliveries will be made to the address indicated on the order form.
In the event that an order takes longer than this to arrive, without sufficient justification, the client can request that the order be cancelled and will receive a full refund within 30 days of this request.
Maison Guillemette reserves the right to refuse delivery or processing of an order made by a client with whom there exists a previous or current dispute over payment of an order (such as an unsettled payment of an order).
The risk of loss or damage to a product will be the client’s responsibility once said product has been delivered to and received by the client.
ARTICLE 6 – COMPLAINTS AND RETURNS
6-1 COMPLAINTS
It is the client’s responsibility to verify the condition of products ordered at the moment of reception, either by delivery or in our showroom. Any anomaly regarding the delivery of products, such as:
- missing items,
- damaged items
- items not conforming to those ordered
must be reported to Maison Guillemette within 14 calendar days in order to invoke your right to exchange or return the product.
Notification of the invocation of this right must be sent to Maison Guillemette’s customer services:

After this period, we will not accept any returns or exchanges, the products having been deemed acceptable.
For all returns of products which do not conform to the description on the website, the client must send the product(s) to:

The client is responsible for the payment of postage and is responsible for the product until it is received by Maison Guillemette.
The product must be returned in its original state and packaging, unworn and unwashed.
If the product is deemed not to conform to the description stated, Maison Guillemette will offer:
1/ The replacement of the product(s) by Maison Guillemette, including reimbursement for the cost of postage of products not conforming to the description (according to the tariffs published by La Poste on the 1st March of that year). This will take place within 30 days from the date of the reception of our confirmation that your product does not conform to the description of the product.
2/ The reimbursement of the cost of the order (price of products and cost of delivery) as well as the cost of returning non-conforming products to Maison Guillemette (according to the tariffs published by La Poste on the 1st Mars of that year). This will take place within 30 days from the date of the reception of our confirmation that your product does not conform to the description of the product.
The client must send proof of the cost of postage for these items to Maison Guillemette’s customer services at the following address: serviceclient@maisonguillemette.com.
In the case of any abuse or offensive behaviour, Maison Guillemette reserves the right to refuse any future order.
6-2 RETURNS
ARTICLE 7 – PERSONAL INFORMATION
Information collected during the processing of orders is strictly confidential and is denoted by an astrix (*) as they are crucial to the processing of the Client’s order. Maison Guillemette will not pass on or sell this information.
